I’m Joey, and for the past 12 years, I’ve been making cool things. Videos, photos, graphics, this website ;)

I’m addicted to the creative process. I love problem solving…Thinking up a crazy idea, figuring out how to pull it off, and then bringing it to life. 

I've got 2 kids, 2 dogs, & a turtle. 🐢 I like to garden, hit up the theme parks with the family, and do some wildlife photography when I have the time. (spoiler: I rarely have time. *see 2 kids. lol)

I’ve worked alone and on teams. (Teams are better) I’ve helped others bring their ideas to life, and been the guy calling the shots. I've helped create full ad campaigns, made long form videos for corporate teams, mini docs, original content & award entries, I've been Emmy nomintated and called a secret weapon. 🕵🏻‍♂️

• Lead creative, promotional, and digital marketing efforts for a major local news brand.
• Executive Producer of *I-4 Food Tour* and other original, sponsored content series.
• Produce promos, commercials, and internal videos from concept through delivery.
• Oversee all aspects of video: scripting, directing, shooting, editing, and sound design.
• Manage station social media accounts and YouTube strategy; track and act on analytics.
• Built a fully functional studio in-house from unused office space.
• Manage vendor/media relationships, production budgets, and purchasing with company card.
• Mentor creative staff, assign projects, and support professional growth.
• Lead branding efforts including graphic redesign, on-air packaging, and campaign development.

2014 - 2019: THE MARKETING FIRM | CREATIVE DIRECTOR

• Served as the sole creative and marketing department, managing all aspects of content production and strategy for a range of clients.

• Produced branded video content from start to finish. Including scripting, filming, editing, and distribution for clients in retail, real estate, and hospitality.

• Developed and pitched creative concepts directly to clients, translating business goals into compelling campaigns.

• Created and managed social media content calendars across platforms like Meta, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

• Built marketing campaigns that included email blasts, social ads, and on-site promotions.

• Reported on campaign performance and optimized based on KPIs such as reach, engagement, and CTR.

• Handled client communications, project management, and vendor coordination.

• Occasionally collaborated with freelance designers or videographers to scale up for larger projects.
